SHADOW the hedgehog and SAGE the imp

it all started that night in the forest...

Sage the imp comes from quite a troubled background, oppressed by his now-extinct government under an unknown clause, and protector of the newly discovered peace crystals, he awakens after thousands of years in a natural stasis. Upon awakening, he encounters the interesting figure of a recently defeated Shadow the Hedgehog, but he is taken away before awakening, and the two must meet again at another point.

One day,  Eggman is up to his usual shenanigans, and of course just when Shadow gets involved,  sonic has to get hurt... and suddenly, the ancient tales that Eggman claimed to have discovered do not seem so fictive anymore.
